That was awful.

What's next?
Oh, sh**! Well, that obviously doesn't work...another step forward.
I don't like this. I like doing what it takes to win!
I don't know if I'm strong enough.

No one knows the future; just do my best.

Maybe my best isn't good enough. My best is always good enough. Nothing more is possible, so asking for more is ridiculous.
I think I'll go eat ice cream/drink beer. The first rule of getting out of a hole: stop digging.
I hate that it's so hard. It's good that it's hard because otherwise everyone would do it.

ADJUSTMENTS

I'm good. Let me be. I'm good and I'm always trying to get better. Can you help?
We won. That's all that matters. We won, but if we play just like that in the playoffs, we are likely to lose.
I play better when I'm comfortable. I'm not going to change my mechanics now. I play better when I'm comfortable so if there are mechanical changes that would help me, I'd better start getting comfortable with the new way.
I'm so pissed that I failed! This game can be hard. What do I want to change?
We lost again. We have to change everything. Most of what we are doing is right. Stay faithful to the process and make subtle adjustments as needed.
How do I know if that adjustment is a good idea. I'll stick with what I've always done. I'd better figure out how to test out that idea.
I was trying to win. I was trying to execute my job to maximize our chanes to win.
